Hi, friend! I’m Alex, the only comedian and writer living in Los Angeles (*citation needed).
I started comedy in Portland, OR where I lived for many years, eventually winning Portland’s Funniest Person and getting an ice cream flavor named after me by Salt & Straw, which is one of MANY things I have in common with The Rock.
I've appeared in several episodes of Portlandia as one of Fred’s nerdy friends and I was lucky enough to do standup on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
But it gets weirder! I’m the author of a best selling young-adult romance novel about a mummy called Unwrap My Heart that Publisher’s Weekly called “unfortunate” and my videos have been viewed over 100 million times. And one time I bowled a 268.
Despite these modest accomplishments, I’ve somehow remained down to earth and approachable.
